THE SECOND VIETNAM URBAN PLANNING AWARDS – VUPA 2020
The second Vietnam Urban Planning Award (VUPA.2020) has been launched by the Vietnam Urban Development Planning Association since March 2021.
The Organizing Committee of the National Urban Planning Award has sent invitations to localities, organizations, businesses and individuals across the country to participate in this Award.
Up to now, the Award Organizing Committee has received more than 200 applications for the prize, including categories (A)- Construction Planning Projects; (B)- Projects that have been invested and built; (C)- Publications on Planning; (D)- Organizations and individuals engaged in excellent urban development management; (E)- Urban environmental quality.
In order to have an accurate, fair and objective assessment of the quality of the works as well as the participating organizations and individuals in accordance with the Award Regulations, the Vietnam Urban Development Planning Association has issued Decision No. decided to establish the second National Urban Planning Award Council (including a large council and sub-committees with 5 categories). Members of the Council of the Second National Urban Planning Award include prestigious experts in management, research and consulting, medicine in the fields of planning, architecture, economics, culture, and art. art, etc. They are highly specialized professionals from the Ministry of Construction; The environmental resources; Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Research institutes; University; Professional associations; Independent national and international experts.
However, due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, with high infection rates nationwide and around the world, the time to judge and organize the National Urban Planning Award Ceremony is very difficult. The second session will be adjourned at an appropriate time. The specific time will be announced later, based on the situation of COVID-19 disease control and prevention in Hanoi and other localities.
